Monetizing Content Sites Using Your PLR Articles
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008Ok, so we’ve covered what PLR is, the top ways to use them, how to rewrite and build blogs with them, and how you should be looking at your online business.
Today we’re taking it one step further…
There are two schools of thought online (and really in anything that is viewed as ‘making money’), and that is “put all your eggs in one basket” or, “diversify, diversify, diversify”.
Now, neither is necessarily right or wrong, but I prefer to follow the latter strategy.
So how do you achieve multiple streams of income with PLR?
I’ll name 3:
- Adsense (contextual advertising)
- Affiliate Programs
- Your Own Products
Content is the backbone of the internet, and quality content is what drives it forward. Most people use the internet for research, some use to buy goods.
The trend is still very strong in the research side, but the buying side is improving year upon year.
PLR content allows you to capture your small piece of the online pie, but would you rather just have adsense on your sites? Or would you rather have just affiliates? Why not both?
Why not capture their email addresses and backend your own physical products as well.
What about setting up a forum and building a community so that you have people coming back to your sites time and again?
My point is, don’t use your PLR material just for one single stream of income. Put adsense on your site, put affiliate links, and test to see which one brings in the most.
The boys over at PLR PRO have given you a brilliant resource with the PLR Process, and tomorrow I’m going to talk about their service and what they offer.
And I’ll be quite honest, when they make the claim of being the #1 provider of PLR content on the web, they aren’t kidding.
So for today, put together your game plan, make sure you have read the PLR Process that you should have downloaded yesterday, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
To your success,
Debra Garrison
